How to accept remote assistance

If you encountered a software or configuration issue and if you wish to have your IT consultant take a look at your Windows device remotely, you may follow this guide to accept remote assistance.
1) Click on the "Search" button on the taskbar.
2) Type in "Quick Assist".
3) Under the best match search results, click on the "Quick Assist" app.
4) If you haven't updated Windows for a while, you may be required to update Windows and the app to the latest version before you could continue. Follow the onscreen instructions to do that.
5) You may also be required to sign-in to your Microsoft account.
6) Once you see the following screen, type in the code provided by your IT consultant, and click the "Share screen" button.
Notes when using remote assistance:
• Please ensure that all Windows and documents with sensitive personal data and/or passwords are saved and closed prior to accepting remote assistance.
